Basset Hound Portrait - Riley

Meet Riley, one very lucky Basset Hound. You see, Riley was homeless. But thanks to a Bassett Hound Rescue organization Riley found a fantastic home. Riley never thought he'd have his own custom pet portrait painted. But here he is! And what a pet portrait. It just doesn't get any better than this. The photo of Riley below was used to create his wonderful pet portrait. You can tell how much Cindi loves the dogs she paints. She has to create art at this level.

About Riley:

Riley is a rescue Basset Hound. I had done two other portraits for these clients in the past...colored pencil. When they came to me with Riley, I did their portrait in colored pencil to match. But I was trying to get pictures painted for a booth and decided to one of the photos I took of Riley and make a pastel painting of it. I loved the "old world style" it had when I got done. It is in a real baroque style frame which really brings out that old feel to the painting. These are the same people that just hired me to do Zoe.
