This portrait is a memorial to great Chow Chow that is sorely missed by her owner. Nothing can replace a truly great dog. But a wonderful pet portrait eases some of the pain and feeling of loss. You feel as if your dog is still with you. You are reminded of how lucky you've been to have shared time with such a great dog.

About Rico, A Truly Great Chow Chow

Rico, a black chow chow, had been gone for a few years before I met her owner. We met and viewed her extensive photo collection and worked out which combination of photos best depicted her character. We met a couple of other times during the time between the order and the finished portrait. Her owner shed tears every time we got together. The loss of this dear dog will always be there...the portrait served as a wonderful memorial to deeply loved family member.
