This is Chance
Chance was a rescue dog that got his name because he had gone from home to home to home in his short life. He was getting his last "chance" with the family that turned out to be his forever home.
Chance is a beautiful very pale yellow lab…nearly white. Trying to get good photos proved to be a real challenge. Because of his past, Chance was rather reserved and shy away from home and his family. It proved impossible to get a photo with him looking happy and his ears perked up. I took some attractive photos, but Chance' owner really wanted a happy look as that was his normal personality. I encouraged his owner to go through some of his own photos and try to take some of Chance as well. We finally settled on a photo where Chance had his head sticking out a truck topper window along with his buddy, and combined it with a neck/chest shot on a photo I had taken. The end result is one of my favorite lab portraits.
