Pet Portraits Prices:
Custom pet portraits prices depend on your choice of size, head vs. full body, type of background, etc. The chart below will give you a good idea of pricing. Cindi will quote you the price for your specific pet portrait after discussing your needs. A 50% deposit is required when you place your order. Cindi will e-mail you a photo of your portrait for your approval when your pet portrait is completed. Your portrait will then be packaged and shipped to you. All costs for shipping and handling within the continental US are included in the quoted price.

Backgrounds:
Standard pet portraits prices listed above are for subject painted on colored paper with no background. If desired Cindi can do an artistic blending of colors in the background or a fully detailed scenic background. Pricing for this addition ranges from $80 - $400 depending on size and complexity. (See examples)

Prices for Additional Subjects:
More than one pet can be included in your pet portrait and can come from different photos. Prices range from $175 - $300 extra depending on pet portrait size.
Multiple Subject
Custom pet portraits are very personal. Therefore you work closely with Cindi every step of the way during your portrait's creation. Cindi sends you on-going e-mails with photos to keep you up to date regarding your pet portrait's progress.
You can contact Cindi using the information below if you're interested in ordering a pet portrait, buying a gift certificate, or if you simply have unanswered questions. Please do not send any photos without contacting her first.
Framing:
You select the size portrait that suits your wall and budget (see pricing chart shown earlier on this page). Cindi works in standard sizes that will fit pre-made mats and frames giving you the option to purchase commercially available sets for a significant savings over custom framing shops. Cindi does not mat and frame finished paintings because of the vast selection of mats and frames available and wide ranges of personal taste. This allows you to put your own personal touch on the portrait.
Photographs:
All photos will be returned to you safely! Click here to see to our photo tips page for information about taking and selecting photos to use. Remember that subjects and backgrounds can be combined from separate photos. Don't worry about items like leashes, collars or hands showing on your phots because they can easily be omitted from the pet portrait. If your photos were taken by a professional photographer you may need to get permission to use them.
Shipping:
Your finished portrait is mailed to you via USPS Priority mail within the continental U.S. Your portrait is sprayed with fixative and covered with acid-free glassine paper for protection during shipment. Your portrait is then sandwiched in cardboard and shipped in a Priority mail box along with the photographs you sent.
Turnaround Time:
Your waiting time varies depending on Cindi's backlog. Generally turnaround is in the 1 - 3 month range. Your lead time can be considerably longer as Christmas nears. If you have a special delivery in mind, please tell Cindi when you place your order and she will do her best to have it for you by then.
Gift Certificates
You can purchase gift certificates for specific portraits or for any dollar amount you choose to be credited toward a portrait order.
